Once step 6 is successful, Team Sailing can be coached and Team Sailing events can be offered on the custom built TSL dinghies provided by SA Sailing. |
WHAT’S INCLUDED?
Sailing lessons are offered on the SA Sailing Pico or Topaz. A further choice of boats is a Laser, Sprog, 420 and Mirror.
Life jackets are provided.
Course Content
The course content is made up 6 steps. There are some theory lessons or but no examinations that need to be written. Assessing is done during the training to ensure that the sailor is progressing well.
What to bring?
- Swimming costumes or leggings that can get wet
- Wetsuit (if you have)
- Warm clothing
- Waterproof jacket
- Sunglasses (string tie)
- Cap or hat (string tie)
- Sunscreen
- Packed Lunch
- Drinks (non-alcoholic)
